Keensen ULP-8040MR-2 is an 8" × 40" ultra-low pressure aromatic polyamide composite RO membrane element designed for groundwater, surface water and municipal water treatment applications where lower operating pressure and high salt rejection are required.

With 440 ft² active membrane area, 10,500 GPD nominal permeate flow and 99.60% stabilized salt rejection under standard test conditions, it is suitable for selected commercial and light industrial RO systems where feed water salinity is typically below 2000 mg/L. Product Overview

ULP-8040MR-2 is an ultra-low pressure RO membrane element for selected commercial and light industrial water treatment systems. It is designed for low-salinity applications such as groundwater, surface water and municipal water treatment where energy-saving operation and stable permeate quality are important.

This membrane should not be selected by size alone. Before replacing an existing 8040 element, users should confirm the current membrane model, feed water salinity, operating pressure, permeate flow requirement, salt rejection requirement, system recovery and pressure vessel compatibility.
