Selecting HF, MR or HR
Select SW-8040HF where higher permeate flow is the main design priority and system conditions allow. Select SW-8040MR where a balanced seawater RO option is suitable for the application. Select SW-8040HR where minimum salt rejection and permeate quality are prioritised.
For replacement enquiries, please provide the existing membrane model, quantity, feed salinity or conductivity, operating pressure, recovery rate, required permeate quality and delivery postcode.
Typical Applications
- Seawater desalination
- High-salinity source water treatment
- Commercial and industrial SWRO systems
- RO concentrate reuse
- High-salinity wastewater concentration
- Zero liquid discharge pretreatment or concentration applications
- Material concentration where SWRO membranes are suitable
Application suitability depends on feedwater quality, pretreatment, operating pressure, recovery rate, scaling risk, fouling risk and permeate quality requirements.

SWRO Membrane FAQs
Is this product in stock?
This SWRO membrane page is for enquiry and supply-to-order requests. Pricing and lead time are confirmed by quotation.
What is the difference between SW-8040HF, SW-8040MR and SW-8040HR?
SW-8040HF is positioned for higher permeate flow, SW-8040MR is a balanced seawater RO option, and SW-8040HR is positioned for higher minimum salt rejection and permeate quality priority.
Can this replace another 8040 seawater RO membrane brand?
A different brand may be considered only after checking membrane size, performance range, operating pressure, feedwater quality, recovery rate and permeate quality requirements. Final suitability should be confirmed against the existing SWRO system design.
What information is needed for a quote?
Please provide the existing membrane model, quantity, feedwater salinity or conductivity, application, operating pressure, recovery rate, required permeate quality, preferred lead time and delivery postcode where available.
